September 11, 2001
Each month American Debt Counseling’s primary goal is to provide the public with the most up to date and useful financial news. This month, however, is very somber for everyone. ADC wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts that are not related to finances. Next month we will return to updating you on financial news.
11 years ago our nation was attacked in a gruesome act that robbed our innocence. Most Americans assumed that we were safe on U.S. soil. That morning we realized that was not the case. The enemies crossed into what should have been our safe haven.
It was a day that we will never forget. There was a lot of evil on that day, yet it was also a day that proved why we are so lucky to be Americans. That tragedy united everyone and the acts of kindness will never be forgotten. Ordinary people risked their life to save others and at times paid the ultimate price. The heroic acts of the passengers on Flight 93 saved an unknown amount of people and lessened the physical damage greatly. The nation is forever grateful to those brave souls aboard that fateful flight.
September 11, 2001 is a day that we look back on with heavy hearts, and a sense of gratitude. Our country suffered a tremendous loss, yet we as a nation proved that we will not let these horrific acts change what we stand for. The freedom of the United States was tested on September 11, 2001 and we proved that we will not only defend our freedom, but that together united we will fight for it!
American Debt Counseling wants to take this moment to honor the memory of those loved ones lost. ADC also wants to personally honor the first responders and other heroes that day. The world is forever grateful to all of those that have helped over the years.
In some way everyone has lent a hand in healing and rebuilding our America. ADC also wants to give a special thanks to all the troops who are fighting for our freedom overseas and here. We are forever indebted to your courageous acts that make our homeland safer. In closing, we hope that everyone takes a moment of silence in memory of all those lost.
